Professional
Biography
Dr.
Siew Eng Choon is currently Head of the Department of Dermatology at Hospital
Sultanah Aminah in Johor Bahru. Besides clinical duties, she is also a member
of Malaysia's national working committee on dermatological drugs and helps
to assess new dermatology-related drugs for registration in Malaysia. Currently,
Dr. Choon is the Clinical Coordinator for the Johor State Teleprimary Care
Pilot Project, and is overseeing the application of teledermatology throughout
Malaysia.
She
also assists the Ministry of Health in developing work processes and clinical
pathways for the management of STDs using the syndromic approach.
